คุณเลนนอนร้องต่อไปว่า I hope you have fun..the near and the dear one…the world has just begun. ผมก็ไม่รอไปอีกวันสองวันหรอกครับ ให้เริ่มส่งความสุขกันได้เลย อะไรใหม่ๆ ช่วงนี้ทำให้ดูมีความหวัง wordpress2.7 เวอร์ชั่นใหม่ให้อัพเดทกันแจ่มกว่าเดิม เลยถือโอกาสเปลี่ยนธีมต้อนรับซะเลยมีเขียวมีแดงบ้างไม่ได้สื่อถึงฝ่ายไหนนะครับ แค่รู้สึกว่าเป็นสีของเทศกาล และชอบธีมนี้เพราะดูออกแนวเรทโทรนิดๆ หวังว่าท่านผู้อ่านคงชอบกัน
คริสมาสต์และส่งท้ายปีนี้เมืองไทยได้นายกฯ คนใหม่ ความวุ่นวายเหมือนคลี่คลายขึ้นบ้างให้ได้พอหายใจหายคอ ใครจะเชียร์จะแช่งอย่างไรนั้นห้ามกันไม่ได้ แต่ใจผมยังอยากให้ท่านนายกฯ คนใหม่นี้อยู่ไปได้อีกสักปีเป็นอย่างน้อยเพราะนับจำเพาะปีนี้เรามีนายกฯ 4 คนแล้ว หากใน 2 ปีมีนายกฯ 5 คนผมว่ามันมากไปสักหน่อย
ข่าวสารบ้านเมืองบอกปีนี้ท่องเที่ยวไม่มี hi แต่ถ้าดูจากยอดคั่วกาแฟของซีททูคัพในช่วงนี้อาจถือว่าไม่หนักหนาอย่างที่คิด คาดว่ามีนักท่องเที่ยวไทยบางส่วนหันเหจากการเที่ยวต่างประเทศมาเที่ยวไทยมากขึ้น ส่วนข่าวคราววงกาแฟนั้นผมก็ไม่ค่อยได้ข่าวอะไร(คืออาจมีข่าวแต่ยังไม่ได้ข่าว) ตามกำหนดการแล้วงานเทศกาลกาแฟรวมถึงการแข่งขันบาริสต้าจะมีขึ้นในช่วงเดือนกุมภาฯ หรือมีนาคม แต่จนบัดนี้ยังไม่เห็นมีการประชาสัมพันธ์อะไรออกมา ท่านที่สนใจคงต้องเตรียมตัวกันไปพลางก่อน
แต่สำหรับแฟนๆ กาแฟโลก ช่วงนี้น่าจะมีกาแฟเข้ามาตามโควต้าจากเทรดเดอร์รายต่างๆ เนื่องจากเป็นเดือนสุดท้ายที่อนุญาติให้นำเข้าตามโควต้าปีนี้ ผมได้เริ่มชิมทดสอบบางตัวที่ P&F Coffee นำเข้าอย่างปานามาพาโซอันโช ถ้าให้เทียบกับปานามาเอสมาเรลด้าที่เคยชิมอาจไม่โดดเด่นเท่าแต่ที่น่าสนใจคือราคาถูกกว่ามาก ในขณะที่ให้ความรู้สึกซีตรัส สะอาด สดใส คล้ายๆ กับที่เคยได้จากกัวเตมาลา ฟินก้าวิสต้าเฮอโมซา หรือสุดยอดโคลอมเบียที่เคยบล็อคเล่าให้ฟังไปแล้ว ในช่วงต้อนรับเทศกาลแห่งความสุขกับอากาศเย็นสบายกับภาวะบ้านเมืองที่สงบลง ปานามาตัวนี้ยิ่งช่วยทำให้ผ่อนคลาย เพิ่มความสดใสให้ความหวังอย่างเข้ากันดีเหลือเกิน
สุดท้ายขอวกกลับมาส่งความสุขตามที่จั่วหัวไว้นะครับ ตามที่คุณเลนนอนว่าไว้ ในเทศกาลคริสมาสต์นี้ขอให้เพื่อนๆ ที่รักมีความสุขสนุกสนานกัน อดีตที่เลวร้ายพยายามอย่าไปคิดถึงมันมาก ให้คิดซะว่าโลกมันเพิ่งจะเริ่มต้น…แฮปปี้คริสมาสต์ครับ

Talk about Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised I liked the blended drink from Starbucks, particularly the spicy gingerbread latte.
Yes, it’s artificial but its warmth and spiciness reminds me of the good times during this holiday seasons.
Even the awful Christmas blend from Starbucks shares the same spicy tone. While I know Thai is less associated with the season, I wonder whether anybody add/blend to accentuate the spiciness in their coffees during this festive season in Thailand

I truly do not know why it has to be “spicy” for this season (or for every season?) Could you tell me that? I have seen some flavor syrup co. try to promote their “mint” flavor for this season. Is it relevant?
I have no reference but my thinking is that food served during wintertime typically has spice in it like gingerbread and egg nog (nutmeg and cinnamon)
These spices typically convey warmth and coziness which is sought after during holiday season.
It’s only natural people built drinks to reflect what’s going on during this time of the year.

I think people put more emphasis on this taste during the season and I think warmth and coziness are increasingly more important during this tough time over there (and in this region?)
Just off the topic, this guy sounds like artisanal cafe nightmare, ie he tries a somewhat decent coffee but didn’t like it.. Here is the link…

individual taste sometimes come from knowledge or experience or maybe circumstance.
I was a capuccino fan then become an espresso drinker when I have seen a lot of my customers have it.
However,good coffee is good coffee,no matter you like it or not.
The issue may come to this point..

In general, artisanal roasters rarely support dark roast, claiming it hinders bean character.
On a side note, I suspect that they tried to differentiate themselves from Starbucks.
I haven’t had/known of good beans that is great (not just good) at dark roast so I can’t answer the question. Have you, khun vudh.
To bequalified, that bean should be roasted dark to best render its character, not just saying that it can ‘withstand’ the roast, IMHO. This further implied that coffee aficionado would like to have that bean roast really dark and enjoy it that way like what they usually enjoy others.
